'I can't believe your mum was a fashion designer ', Monica said glancing up and down at Porsha. 

' My mum was a fashion designer ', Porsha said, putting on her jacket, ' but that doesn't mean I have to gussy up for every occasion '. 

' Your brothers do ', Monica said

'Did ', Porsha corrected. ' They've been dead for more than a year now. Besides we are going to church. It's not exactly an occasion'.

Monica watched as porsha's eyes watered. They rarely talked about Chris and Ben or Mrs Johnson. 

' I'm sorry ', Monica said, ' i didn't mean to make you cry

' It's okay ' Porsha said. ' Ìm happy my dad married your mum, I lost my brothers but now I have a new older sister, I've always wanted a sister.

'Awwn! 'I love you too, and am sure April will. She's a fan of your brothers'.

'Whos April?', Porsha asked frowning slightly 

'She's my best friend' Monica said with a smile. ' We've been friends since I can remember. She's really beautiful, caring, crazy and ....she can see ghosts'.

'I love her already', Porsha said playfully. ' Wait, she can see ghosts?'

'Sure', Monica said 

'Howd you know?' Porsha asked 

'She told me', Monica replied 

'And you believe her because ....?

Monica sighed. 'I can see ghosts too.

April added finishing touches to the painting of the last model. She leaned back to take a better look at the picture and smiled.

' Good job' Raph said putting his hands around her shoulders,'you're a great artist'.

'I should get going', April  said suddenly, 'there's someone I need to see'.

'No problem', Raph said. 'ill be seeing you around'.

Ten minutes later, April was pulling her car into the driveway. She got down and went inside.

' Where's mum?', April asked danny who was watching TV 

'I Dont know', Danny said without looking up. 'She went out with a guy named Trent'.

'Like seriously? April said slapping her forehead. ' What was she wearing?'

'You Dont wanna know'.

April exhaled sharply and ran upstairs to her room. She threw her bag on the bed and walked right in front of the dressing table.

" Hello beautiful"

April spun around only to see Ben leaning casually against the window.

' Seriously', April said. 'You guys have got to stop sneaking up on me . You're ghosts and it's scary'.

Ben chuckled. ' really?'

'Yes', April said as Ben came closer. ' Where's Chris? '

Ben stopped shirt and his eyes widened. ' I'm here not Chris'

April recalled she hadn't seen Chris since the night they kissed. She didn't know what she felt for Chris but .....

'What are you thinking about'

April snapped out of her thought and slowly came back to the guy that was standing in front of her 

' nothing' she said quickly,  'nnothing' she gestured towards the bed, 'please sit down'

'Do You have any feelings for my brother?' Ben asked her.

'No!' She replied almost too loudly, 'nnooo', her voice was calmer now.' I don't have any feelings for Chris. I'm just suprised that he didn't come with. You always come here together.

April knew something was wrong but she couldn't place a finger on it as she glanced continously at Ben 

'Well your sweetheart isn't here', ben said,' and by the way he has come here alone before. Remember the night you guys kissed? He smiled a little before continuing.  'Well I was there, I saw you guys so don't tell me you have no feelings for him.

April swallowed hard. So ben was there the whole time? Now she feels like an idiot.

' Look ben, I don't have any feelings for you, I admit that you're handsome and attractive and I may have crushed on you at a point but that's all there is to life. And fine I admit, I do have feelings for Chris'.

Ben's jaw widened as he was filled with anger and jealousy. maybe it was time for him to break the news to her but before he could start he heard her voice

"You're alive!!", she said 

He slowly rose up from the bed to meet her gaze

'Yes, am alive'

'How is that even possible? she said loudly, 'you're dead and supposed to remain dead. The dead don't come back to life.

' All things are possible' Ben said ' I made a deal with someone'

' who?' April asked 

' A ghost', he answered 

' And who is this ghost character? Is it someone I know' she asked 

'Her name is Dahlia', ben said. ' She's Chris ex girlfriend. 

' How did she die?'April asked

'Well Chris broke up with her and she committed suicide. ' She shot herself'.

'So what did she want?', April asked even though she feared the answer 

' Dahlia promised to bring me back to life' , Ben said. ' She was a witch when  she was alive so it's possible for her'.

' Why would she want to help you!', April asked

' it seemed she never stopped loving Chris', Ben replied. 'She was jealous of You. She was watching when Chris kissed you. So she decided to help me come back in exchange for Chris.

April got up with a start . She grabbed Ben by his collar. ' What do you mean? Where's Chris?'.

I helped Dahlia to trick Chris into going back to ghost world. She used her magic to hold him there.

" Does that mean? ....

"Chris is never coming back, April ".

" Chris is never coming back". Even after two hours, the words were still ringing in April's ears.  Tears flowed down her cheeks as she lay down on the bed. Ben was still in her room, sitting by the dressing table. His face was emotionless as his eyes were brooding. He made no move to console her. He just watched.

' Would you at least get out of my room?' April said. ' you're alive now. Just get the hell outta here and go home'.

' You know I can't' ,Ben said. ' everyone knows am dead.  How am I supposed to make an appearance? '.

' Well that's for you to worry about' , April said wiping her tears. ' Why did you do it? How could you? More tears fell . He was your brother, your twin! How could could you be so ... heartless?'.

Ben stood up and moved closer to her. As he took one step forward, she took one step backward.

' Dont come any closer' April said.

Ben raised his hands in surrender. ' April...'

'I Dont wanna hear it, just get out and leave me alone. She said 

' April , look I know what I did was wrong' Ben said

' Wrong? ?', April shouted' What you did was cruel, horrible , unforgivable. 

More tears rolled down her cheeks and Ben's heart churned at the sight. He shouldnt have made the deal with Dahlia . Now April was never going to forgive him. 

April turned her back against ben. Danny was sick and she didn't want to disturb him. Chris, her Chris was gone and never coming back. Her mother wasn't around and wasn't reliable. There was only one person she could run to. Her father.
